Why Buy Online
It has often been the case in the past that to get product
information a consumer would go to a local store to learn about
a product before purchasing online in order to save money and
get the convenience of home delivery. However as the internet
changes so does the way we shop.
Nowadays there is often more information on the internet about a product than on the products
own packaging. It is also becoming more usual in larger retail outlets or
chains that the shop assistants have little or no product knowledge and
may even be part time or weekend staff. Now on Garden4Less.co.uk
you can not only read in depth information about
products you can also read product reviews placed by
previous customers, helping you make a more informed
decisions about a purchase.
You can also be assured that any product sold on Garden4Less.co.uk
has an extremely low fault rate. If a product did show a
high fault rate then it would become costly for us to
retrieve these items from our customers and send out
replacements. It sounds fairly obvious but this isn't
the case in a store where it is your responsibility to
take the product back to the store and collect the
replacement. This is why we only stock high quality
branded products and you won't find the lower quality
imported East Asian versions.
Delivery Charges
Delivery is free on orders over £25, with the exception
of a few remote areas including the Scottish highlands and off
shore deliveries including Northern Ireland. Special delivery
and Weekend delivery can sometimes be organised but these do usually
incur additional charge.
For orders under £25, delivery charges may be added to the cost of the order during the checkout process prior to entry of
payment details or can be seen in the mini cart whilst shopping. The mini cart is displayed on the top right of the screen.
Delivery prices quoted are for UK mainland delivery only, we can
ship products outside of the UK by prior arrangement.

Please be aware that we cannot arrange an absolute guarantee
delivery date for an order as the delivery itself is performed by a
third party courier and, although it is very rare, failures do
sometime occur due to mis-routing of a parcel.
Please note that if one or more items are returned for a refund
and the remaining items on the order would have incurred a delivery
charge then this charge will need to be deducted from the refund
value, please refer to cancelling orders / items below. Written Confirmations
After your order has been placed an email will be sent to you including all information
required by the European Commission’s Distant Selling Directive.
Cancelling Orders
/ Items
Orders can be cancelled by
emailing contact@garden4less.co.uk
stating the order reference. Credit / Debit cards will be refunded
within 5 working days. If an order has been dispatched and the
cancellation is due to the item no longer being required then it
will be your responsibility to return the item or to cover the cost
of the courier returning the item to us.
In the instance of a faulty product we will arrange to exchange
the item for a replacement of the same model. We may however need to
determine the cause of the fault and the exchange would depend on
the nature of the item / fault and the conditions of the
manufacturers warranty. To speed the process up we may on occasion
ask for images of the fault, if it is a visible problem.
Please note that if one or more items are returned for a refund
and the remaining items on the order would have incurred a delivery
charge then this charge will need to be deducted from the refund
value.
Damages & Shortages
It is rare for items to get damaged in transit but accidents can
happen and occasionally there may be a packing error resulting in a
shortage.
It is vital that all order are checked on delivery and we are
notified of any damages or shortages within 7 days. In these cases
it is best to call us to lets us know, but if you do email then
ensure that we have acknowledged the email before the time elapses
as we cannot take responsibility for non delivery of an email.
If it is not possible to check the item at the time of delivery
for any reason then please let us know so that we can discuss the
risks involved if the item is not being checked. Unfortunately once
the 7 days have elapsed the couriers insurance lapses and claims
cannot be made. This is why it is safer to always check items on the
day of delivery even if the outer packaging appears to be intact. To
speed the process up we may on occasion ask for images of the
damage.
Privacy Policy
Any information that we will
collect about you, will be used only in normal order completion and
account processing activities and will be used only in accordance
with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will never pass your
details on to another party without your permission.

Every item on Garden4Less.co.uk,
will be accompanied with an appropriate description and by a representative image.
In some cases the product may vary from the image displayed where the manufacturer has updated the packaging or improved the look of the product without informing us. Also
note that colours can vary due to conditions at the time
photography, possible natural variations in colour and also the
setup and model of your computer monitor.
Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with any purchase from
Garden4Less.co.uk, you may return any products back to us within 7
working days of receipt providing that the product is in a resell
able
condition, this means that the product is not damaged, has not been used in any way and that the product is
complete with the original pristine condition packing. These Terms and Conditions do
not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
With regards to faulty products we will adhere to the warranty
provided by the manufacturer and work within their process to fix or
exchange the products under their warranty terms and conditions. The
total liability of the sale of contract is limited to the monies
paid by the buyer and we cannot be held liable for indirect,
consequential or special loss.
Recycle Old Electrical Items
Unwanted electrical equipment is UK's fastest growing type of waste.
If you are buying a new electrical item, Garden4Less.co.uk
will be happy to recycle your old one for you.
Why Recycle
Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and also human health.
All new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed out
wheeled bin symbol and should be disposed of separately from normal
household waste
We Can Help
We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items on a like for like basis. Simply return your old
electrical item to us or drop it into our store, within 28 days from
the date of your order, and we will arrange to have it recycled on your behalf.
Please return your old electrical goods with your new order number to
ensure that we are able to record this transaction correctly. If you
have any queries about this scheme, please feel free to
contact us via the usual channels.
What is WEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free taken back of their old
electrical goods on a like for like basis.
