The ALKO Comfort 32VLE Combi Care electric scarifier has a 32 cm working width with 12 blades and is powered by 1.0 kW motor

This product also includes a grass box with a 45 L capacity

The special blades remove moss and thatch and can penetrate the ground. This increases thatch aeration allowing nutrients and water supply into the grass roots, re-juvenating the lawn.

Very good appliance,only bad point is that it is poorly balanced it needs constant lifting of handle to keep in contact with surface,can be tiring

Delivered promptly,easy to assemble,In using scarifier I found grass collection box fiddly to fit,more important the machine is poorly balanced,without lifting handle to maintain contact with grass surface,it falls toward user.That said,does the job.

The product is as described, easy to assemble and good build quality. The scarfying effect was more harsh than expected compared to my previous Black and Decker version.

A very good product. A job that would normally have taken me two to three days was completed in a morning. The amount of moss and thatch that this machine extracted from my lawn had to be seen to be believed. The collection bag filled up so quickly that I stopped using it and just raked up the moss afterwards. I found it very easy to change the scarifier for the aerator. My lawn was very dry and I would recommend using the aerator on a moist lawn as it did struggle at times. This is not a critisism of the product as the ground was rock hard. The only downside to this machine is a small collection bag that is fiddly to attach to the machine but apart from that it is a thumbs up!
