Product Information

A popular, easy to grow variety. Great fresh or pickled. Ideal for freezing. Boil in salted water and when cooled the skin can be removed by gently rubbing.

Sowing Instructions

Sow outdoors April - July. Sow seeds thinly 2.5cm deep direct in growing bed in rows 12" (30cm) apart. Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle thin to 4" (10cm) apart.

Growing Instructions

Twist off the leaves to prevent bleeding. Ideal for successional sowing. Protect young seedlings from birds using netting. Keep well waterd in dry conditions.

Harvesting Instructions

July onwards.
