Very pleased with this trimmer. Needs a bit more effort in use (weight) than my previous Black and Decker hedge trimmer, but worth it. After trimming my own hedges (including a 9m high holly hedge 30m long)I went next door to an old age pensioner and did hers as well. It went through her old unattended hedge like a knife through butter. Nearing 70 years myself, I don't think any tool heavier than this will be within my strength range - its not light. That said, I'm now waiting for the hedges to grow again so that I can get out there and make them look pristine. With this trimmer I am 'tooled up' and ready to go. Expensive for a blade that does not last very long (£15) but much cheaper than anywhere else. Found Garden4less by accident and their customer services, prices and delivery times I found impossible to beat - order late afternoon and it appears on your doorstep next day???? - you tell me if you can find better.

The trimmer is excellent for the purpose for which it was designed. It is not a chain saw, but can cut through very thick branches one at a time. It is a powerful machine and thereby quite heavy. It makes trimming all types of hedges relatively easy if not tiring. Compared to my old Bosch hedge trimmer it is leagues ahead, very sharp indeed. All in all, for domestic use probably the best you can buy. Full marks.
