The Bosch quiet shredder AXT 25 TC is ideal for all types of wood and green material. It boasts a revolutionary Turbine-Cut system that has 8 blades which rotate, virtually ruling out the possibility of stalling.
This Shredder has high torque that produces a material throughput rate of up to 230kg/h and will shred both green and woody branches of up to 45mm in diameter. It also boast and automatic feed with low noise levels for extremely convenient hassle free shredding

| Works very very well with woody material. Long branches are chomped right up to maximum diameter and the machine draws in side branches with little fuss although the loppers make any trimming a doddle. The basket does fill quickly so unless your close to your heap/mulch site. its best to have a barrow standing by.
I'm less impressed by the performance on softer materials until they are dry. Unless you can alternate with woody stuff the m/c does not draw soft material through too well even with the prodder provided.
A great improvement on my 12 year old Al Ko which I've now retired. |

| I've given this machine a battering since buying it, it's produced a mulch pile the size of a small car and is still going strong! The size of branches that it will chew up are impressive, too. Smaller leafy twigs sometimes need a prod with the red paddle, but once the cutters get a grip, off they go. Woody matter is chipped into decent size pieces, being more sliced than chipped, but partly crushed at the same time, so they should rot down at a decent rate. Look good when spread on borders too.
My only minor gripe, if I had to have one, would be that the AXT25 TC needs a bigger hopper as the one on it fills up fairly quickly.
All in all, an excellent machine. Highly recommended. |

| I gave this shredder 5 stars because it is better than I expected, it chops up 2inch thick branches with ease it did stick once but cleared easy when put in reverse,well worth the money. |

| Never owned a shredder before as I was unimpressed by the machines in the past that neighbours have owned. I have used this new machine extensively on my daughter's neglected and overgrown garden at her new house. We chose this top of range shredder rather than employ professional garden clearance team to save on cost. It is very powerful and has coped very well on the whole with a mixture of trees and shrubs. I have kept the thickest branches for logs. The machine has never jammed but it does not deal well with stringy vegetation. This can wrap itself around the blades and I have needed frequently to pull the collecting box out and remove it by hand. The best method for dealing with ivy etc is to pass it through the shredder with thick woody branches either simultaneously or alternately. The ejected material is not as finely shredded as I had hoped but I am confident that in time it will rot down quickly to provide an excellent mulch. |
