Product Information
A solid red cabbage producing large, smooth leafed heads with a wonderful texture and flavour. Traditionally used for picking, also great for adding colour to winter salads or cooked.
Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors March - April. Sow seeds 1.5cm deep in trays of moist compost, be careful not to over-water. Store in a glasshouse at an approx temperature of 10-15 degrees C (50-60 degrees F). Harden off prior to planting out in late spring.
Sow outdoors April - May. Sow seeds 1.5cm deep direct in growing bed. Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle thin to 18" (45cm) apart.
Growing Instructions
Keep well watered in dry conditions. Feed with a liquid fertiliser.
Harvesting Instructions
September onwards.
