As its name suggests this is an early variety producing blunt ended carrots of excellent flavour. Ideal for freezing.
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors March - April. Sow seeds thinly 1.5cm deep direct in growing bed in rows 12" (30cm) apart. Keep the soil moist, and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle thin to 4" (10cm) apart.
Growing Instructions
Ideal for successional sowing. The carrots will be more tender and tasty if harvested before maturity. Keep well watered in dry conditions.
Harvesting Instructions
May - July.
