Product Information

An excellent tasty 'autumn broccoli', use steamed, boiled or in stir-fry dishes throughout the late summer and early autumn. Freezes well.

Sowing Instructions

Sow outdoors, March to May.
In a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 25cm (10") apart. Cover lightly with 1.5cm (0.5") of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-21 days.

Care Instructions

When 7.5-10cm (3-4") tall transplant to final position with 60cm (2ft) between plants and rows. Firm plants in well. Keep moist and weed free.

Harvesting Instructions

August to October. Pick main head when large enough, then leave plants to allow side shoots to develop.

Germination is good and the plants have developed well. The seed is big enough to space out so that thinning is not needed particularly.
