Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors, March to July.
In a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 30cm (12") apart. Cover with 1.5cm (0.5") of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-14 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care Instructions
When large enough, thin to 20cm (8") apart. Keep moist and weed free at all times. Protect early sowings with cloches.
Harvesting Instructions
May to October. For maximum 'freshness' cut lettuces in the morning or evening.
