Has a strong and refined flavour. Considered by some to be the best flavoured of all parsley.
Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors, March to April, or all year round for pots indoors. Outdoors, March to July.
Indoors, in pots of moist compost. Sow thinly, cover lightly with compost. Firm gently. Cover with clear glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 15-20 degrees C (60-68 degrees F) and keep moist.
Outdoors, in the growing position. Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.
Care Instructions
Indoors, remove cover when seedlings appear. Thin plants to further pots or trays if necessary. To grow outdoors, stand outside for a few days late may (avoid frosts). Then transplant 20cm (8") apart in final position. To grow indoors, transplant to 15cm (6") pots of compost, place in a light airy location.
Outdoors, when large enough thin to 20cm (8") apart.
Harvesting Instructions
Pick the leaves as required, outdoor plants from June onwards. Indoor plants all year round. Surplus leaves can be dried but better flavour is retained by freezing.
