Crops of sweet, juicy cherry tomatoes that taste at their best when picked straight from the garden. Add a little olive oil and basil for a tasty tomato salad.
Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors, January to March for greenhouse crops. March to April for outdoor crops. In pots or trays of seed compost. Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx 15-20 degrees C (60-68 degrees F). Seedlings appear after 7-14 days.
Care Instructions
When plants reach a height of 15cm (6") transplant to individual pots. Keep at approx 15 degrees C (60 degrees F). For greenhouse crops: Transplant to growing position in growing bags or large pots in the greenhouse in April to May. For outdoor crops: Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant to a sunny spot outside, spacing 30cm (12") apart or in large pots or growing bags. Pinch outside shoots regularly and growing tips once 4-6 trusses have set. Provide support and tie up where necessary. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvesting Instructions
June to October, outdoor crops from August. Apply a liquid feed every 2-3 weeks when first trusses have set.
