The bench did not fit togther very well and several of the locating dowels had been broken at the manufacturer, glued together and stained in an attempt to conceal the damage. Some of the dowels were far bigger than the reciving holes they should locate into. The screw locations for the seat are not the easiest to get to and screw home tight. The bench required several pairs of hands to put it together, not that easy. After a few weeks outside, the stain is 50% removed giving an appearance of several years old. This is poor quality. Would have rerurned if it was not for the hassle.

Nice looking and comfortable Bench, and nice and heavy, we purchased this bench for the cemetery by our fathers and a friends grave, and have found that we keep having to oil them with Teak oil every 4 weeks, they just keep drying out real quick, and when they start they realy look terrible, need to find out what else is best to use on them, dont realy want to use wood preserve or varnish as i think varnish would crack and look worse, Gdns 4 Less could not give me an answer or reason why this was happening. I will post if i find a solution

Nice bench for the money. Seems good enough value. However some black spots have appeared on it after the rain although we have not yet painted it. Hopefully these will disappear after sanding and painting with teak oil. There was a slight problem with fixing the front bar, which seemed to be higher than the rest of the seat. We tried turning it up the other way, which puts less strain on the fixings but leaves a blunt edge rather than a rounded edge on top. It appears that the fixings have been placed wrongly but this can be sorted. Otherwise, it seems strong and will hopefully last for many years.
