Exclusively launched by T&M back in 1979 as the most crisp and sweet hearted Cos which stood in perfect quality without bolting through the summer. Upright habit with noticeable savoyed/bubbled dark green outer leaves. Good sweetness, use as a sugar Cos when young, or as a fully hearted mature lettuce. Also suited as a 'cut and come again' salading.

Sowing Instructions

Ideal for spring and summer sowings. Sow thinly at regular intervals 1cm deep in drills 30-38cm apart.

Growing Instructions

Thin seedlings to 30cm apart for full-hearted lettuce or to 15cm for 'baby leaf' or 'cut and come again' salading. Water well during dry periods. Cut heads can keep for up to 2 weeks in a refrigerator. Days to maturity 75 days.
