The reel was easy to assemble and I use it as free-standing equipment. My last storage system cost almost four times the price and was heavy and cumbersome. The hose had to be reeled in very carefully and slowly or it would snag inside the reel. These problems no longer exist as the new reel is light and easy to carry and the hose winds and unwinds with total ease. I could not wish for better value for money.

fiddly to put together, but does the job thereafter. With the need to assemble however, I wonder how long lasting this will actually turn out to be...?

Does not rewind evenly and easily unless feed is directly in front of the reel when wall mounted. Some form of sliding guide on the front projecting bar would perhaps assist in a more even distribution of the hose when rewinding.

This is a great product and very good value for money. The service I received was very good and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful and seemed happy to advise. I left this good looking product in my front garden the other night and sadly an opportunist thief decided to steal it. Must get another one a remember to take it in at night.
