| This is a more robust unit than the standard fittings and goes better with the Auto reel unit which we also purchased. |

| I described this item as poor. It always seemed to pop off the Hozelock hose. However, on closer examination I discovered that the hose was not a push fit but could indeed be tightened like the older stop end fittings. By tightening the grey part of the fitting the hose is gripped tightly. I apoligise for my original review but suggest that Hozelock give a better description of the operation of this particular product |

| a poor product that does not stay on the hoses even on a low pressure system like mine. It is inferior to the screw clamp system that it replaces. |

| I have never had a problem with Hozelock products but this one (unlike its predecessor the 2166)regularly comes off when connected to other Hozelock products and wastes water. I have replaced it with the Stop Connector 2055 instead. |
