| Great way to automatically water plants. I also purchased a micro irrigation system but found the soaker hose a much simpler and more effective option. Foolproof!

| Overall, excellent piece of kit & worth the money. Design comments: the hose was a lot more rigid than I expected and I found the 25 metre hose had a life of its own when I unwrapped it. Like a coiled spring it bounced over the lawn whilst I tried to straighten it out to lay around the garden. The advertised illustration shows the hose bent at 90 degrees around 3 flower/veg beds; to bend it at this angle puts it under considerable stress - again, I found it resisted my efforts; solved this with pegs at regular intervals to direct & anchor the hose. Maybe 3 shorter lengths with connectors would have been more manageable or a more pliable rubber? I was tempted by special price of this 25 metre version! |
