The humane Mousetrap is a high quality galvanised steel trap designed to catch and hold up to 15 mice at the same time. Multi-catch traps are often used by professional pest control operatives in areas where they cannot use poisons or conventional traps, or to monitor activity.
The Pest-Stop Automatic Mouse Trap has a clockwork action, which once set can catch up to 15 mice. Optimum positioning for the trap is alongside walls, where mice tend to travel. When the mice enter they are swept into the capture compartment.

| Works better than any other humane trap I bought before. However mice can tend to get trapped in the wheel which can lead to death, but this has only happen 2-3 times and I have caught about 30 mice. |

| Seems to do the job. We put some bait in the trap as the first time the mouse went through it, he was so small it did not activate.
Mouse got caught and released in a field.
Have not seen any more mice since, so perhaps this model was overkill (no pun intended) for us, although I cannot see how 15 mice could be caught at the same time in such a small compartment (the bit where the mice are held is just the part with breathing holes - most of the bulk of the box is the mechanics.
For humans, the only down side I can see is that you are not supposed to crank it more than 15 times, so you have to keep count as to how many mice you caught, or how many test triggers you ran, so you do not over tighten the trap. A better design would simply stop when cranked to the maximum (instead of breaking which is what this model is supposed to do...). |

| I caught 12 mice with this trap, usually in rounds of 2 or 3 mice at a time. It works really well. Although the instructions say you dont have to bait the trap, I baited it with peanut butter biscuits. It warns you not to wind the mechanism too tight and it is a warning that you should heed. I wound mine too tight so now I am buying another one. |
