Quick maturing crops of pods which form above the leaves for easier harvesting. Delicious steamed, boiled or stir fried.
Sowing Instructions
May to July outdoors, directly into rich, well prepared soil in a sunny spot. Sow 3 or 4 seeds together 4cm deep. Allow 20cm between each group of seeds in the row and allow 45cm between rows. Also ideal for growing in large pots and containers.
Growing Instructions
Hoe regularly and keep watered, adding a mulch during hottest, dry periods. Pods grow up to 20cm in length.
Harvesting Instructions
June to October. Pick pods regularly whilst young for heaviest yields and to extend the season.
