Sowing Instructions
March to April, in pots or trays on the surface of barely moist seed compost and cover with a sprinkling of finely sieved compost. Place in a propagator 15 – 20C until germination, which can be up to 24 days.
Growing Instructions
Transplant seedlings into small pots or cells until large enough to plant outdoors. Plant in well prepared soil in full sun, once frost risk has passed, 25cm apart. Height to 30cm, but usually kept well trimmed to allow new growth. Ideal for a rockery in well drained soil.
Harvesting Instructions
June onwards. Winter hardy but best picked young. Plants should survive for several years if kept trimmed to keep their shape.
