Product Information
A superb variety producing large, globe shaped onions with rich gold skins and a mild flavour. Often grown for exhibitions. Can be sown in spring and autumn.
Sowing Instructions
sow indoors January - February. Sow seeds 1.5cm deep in trays of moist compost, be careful not to over-water. Store in a warm place. Plant out in desired location in April, harden off first.
Sow outdoors March - April, August. Sow seeds 1.5cm deep direct in growing bed. Keep the soil moist and be careful not to over-water. When large enough to handle thin to 9" (25cm) apart.
Growing Instructions
Keep free from weeds. When the leaves are yellow bend over tops.

August - September.
