Dark green leaves with good mildew tolerance. Add raw baby leaves to salads, or steam for a tasty and nutritious cooked vegetable.
Sowing Instructions
March to July outdoors, in well prepared soil in a sunny spot. Sow thinly in either narrow or broad drills, 13mm deep and 30cm apart. Suitable for successional sowings throughout the year. Can also be sown in September to October under glass.
Growing Instructions
Thin seedlings to 5cm apart for ‘baby leaves’ and 10cm for larger plants. Keep well watered to avoid bolting (running to seed).
Harvesting Instructions
May to September outdoors, November onwards under glass.
