The packaging for this and its sister product Phos-Kit says that it treats, for instance, 1500 gallons. In fact it does nothing of the kind. It does only the first of three applications that need to be done two weeks apart. So to really treat 1500 gallons you actually need three times as much. It then has to be followed up by the application of Phos-Kit every two weeks between Match and November. So to really treat 1500 gallons with Phos-Kit you need about 20 times as much as the wording on the packaging suggeats. Apart for the very misleading wording I calculate the cost to treat a pond for a season would be about £230 (3 packets of Blanc-Kit and 20 packets of Phos-Kit) which must make it the most expensive blanket weed treatment ever, by a long way.

This product really does work, the pond goes a bit cloudy and thick for about 24 hours but then clears perfect.....
