| A review by an elderly male of the Wolf adjustable tree lopper and its suitability for lopping branches. The 4:1pulley system is a great improvement on my previous Wolf which was not adjustable (& still in working order).
A word of warning to the elderly: at the extended high pole position
the weight could be a problem. Nevertheless it deserves the five stars |

| Used with the 220-400cm pole. Good bit of kit, easy to use, good adjustment and the 4:1 pulley system makes cutting branches a breeze.
If only it had some sort of laser guidance on it, 4 m is quite far away to aim at a little branch! |

| This is absolutely wonderful - it cuts easily and also the fact that it can be angled is of particular benefit. |

| Great solution to reach heights that are just beyond a typical long handled pruner. Also it has a powerful cutting action enabling large branches to be pruned with ease.
Downsides? Well when used with the longest Wolf pole at full extension it is rather top heavy and the pole itself flexes a little. Also if you are pushing the cutter head directly up through the canopy it can catch on small branches.
I would recommend getting the cable tidy to make the device smoother to operate but overall a good buy. |
