Product Information

Deter squirrels from birdfeeders and other garden areas. This spray is formulated with Natural Active ingredients which are an irritant and distasteful to squirrels but which are palatable to wild birds. Treats up to 150 square metres.

I have now bought 2 bottles of this product. It works as well as one could expect. Birds have neither a sense of smell nor taste so they happily eat my peanuts, sunflower seeds and suet balls - all having been sprayed with the product. After persistent rain one needs to spray supplies again. I have seen a new visiting squirrel stop on the top of our trellis, sniff (chilli has a pungent smell) and retreat hastily. Also I have not seen mice visiting the feeders as was their prevous wont. This is a natural product and has no poisonous effects.

Unfortunately the spray does not work!!! The squirrels absolutely ignore it...

This does not seem to deter the squirrels in my loft at all, (but I may not be using it as intended). It says it treats 150 square metres, but my loft is, at most, about 25 sq metres. It could be because there are some ventilation holes by the gutter, but it is meant to work outside.... Also, it is possible I haven't used it regularly enough, (but I don't think it indicates how to use it, really).

We have tried many ways of preventing squirrels from raiding bird feeders and this is one of the most effective that we have come across. Naturally it does need to be reapplied from time to time but, other than on rainy days, it seems reasonably long lasting.

It was not effective at all, we still have squirrels coming in the garden, so that was a waste of money, and would not purchase that product again, Regards E. Knightley

Although this is advertised as garden use. I have had squirrels in my attic for some time. Knowing how destructive they can be chewing cables etc. (which I have found evidence they have been in my loft!) Other than the destructive nature of squirrels the early mornings 03.30 - 05.30 are a nightmare and far worse than mice or rats, with their scratching and scurrying around the attic. Having tried various things, I thouhgt, before spending a fortune on exterminators I would give this spray one last go. wearing a face mask and armed with the spray I ventured into the attic and began to spray liberally around the whole attic. the access area where they wer gettin in and all the cables. The very next morning, I didn`t hear a thing!!. WOW!! this spray is amazing! Previously i hadn`t blocked the access as I know if squirrels have found a decent nesting site or place to live they will make more holes to get in. I can now go and block up any holes they have made as they obviously don`t like my attic anymore. Thankyou for a great product. Paul
