This variety of Jursalem Artichoke has a smokey flavour and is ideal in soups, salads or served as a side dish with meats. They are culitvated in a similar way to seed potatoes.

Delivery was very quick. The pack contained five very healthy looking tubers; they were planted mid April in a dubious looking patch of reclaimed waste ground. Ten weeks later they are now all approximately four foot high. One plant took nearly five weeks to appear, but they are known for that. Highly recommended.
