Spring Planting Rhubarb Crowns

Product Information

Rhubarb Holsteiner is a vigorous grower that produces well flavoured, bright stems.

Harvesting
It is advisable not to take stems the first growing season to allow the plant to become established. When harvesting, twist stems away from the crown as they attain sufficient size but never take too many from one plant as this will weaken it. To maintain a healthy plant, cease harvesting at the end of July.

Grown from cultivated stock. Crowns/roots should not be eaten.

Two of the rhubarb crowns appear to be growing well. Delivery and package was well within acceptable levels. Overall very pleased with my purchase and would not hesitate to order more items.

unfortunately all three crowns that i planted have not grown.have had success with all other plantings up the lotty
