Taylors Bulbs for Spring Planting 2009
At garden4less.co.uk we have a stunning range of bulbs for fantastic summer
borders and patio pots. Most of our flower bulbs are from the Taylors Bulbs

Charming Beauty Gladioli
Charming Beauty is a beautiful rose coloured gladioli with a cream throat.
Charming Beauty bulb is part of our Nanus gladioli bulb range which is a hardy range, suitable for herbaceous borders. Gladioli come in packs of 10 and these specific gladioli flower from July onwards with a full height of 60cm.

Santa Claus Dahlia
With its vivid red and white stripes its not hard to
understand why this Dahlia has been named Santa Claus, but
don't get mistaken this tuber should be planted in late
spring rather than Christmas day.
These tubers are sold in singles and flower from July
onwards. The total height of the plant is up to 1m. Dahlia
look stunning in beds, borders or pots.

Sterling Star Lily The white petals on the Sterling Star lily are speckled with
brown spots. This Lily produces clusters of lightly scented flowers from June to July. It is
ideally planted in shrubbery or borders, but can be in deep
containers using a loam based compost.

Red Pendula Begonia
The Pendula Begonia is ideal for hanging baskets with its multitude of small
(1 to 1.5 inch) beautiful hanging flowers. The Pendula needs protecting from intense sun, heavy rain and wind, but needs plenty of water and should not be left to try out when in full bloom.
The Red Pendula can be planted in a
basket on its own or combined with other plants to make a
mixed handing basket. The Pendula also look good in window
boxes and planters.

Yellow Marginata Crispa Begonia
These plants produce an unusual ruffled
flower with single yellow petals edged in red. Can be plant
in window boxes or borders. The Marginata Crispa grows to
18cm tall. This bulb can be purchased in packs of 3.
Begonias will benefit from being
started off indoors and will root quicker is bottom heat is
applied. This can be achieved by placing the potted bulbs on
heat mats or soil warming cable.
