Reviewed By denise from belper Review Date 12 August 2011 (4 out of 5) The device is a good concept, with the capacity to clean the sides and bottoms of boots in the same movement. Its ability to work depends upon the user transferring all his weight to one side (left or right foot) while moving the other foot against the brushes. So each side has to be strong enough to bear the full weight of the user. Without this the device would move uncontrollably in use. Its weakness is in the materials used. In particular, the wooden rods that tie the four brushes together are not strong enough to support the weight of a normal adult who is standing on one foot. The problem could be overcome by replacing the outer (front and back) rods with rods made of either a harder wood, such as teak or mahogany, or steel tubes.
