Product Information
An extremely large and impressive plant with a real presence in the garden. Huge, attractive leaves can grow up to 1.8m/6ft across. It prefers a moist location and is ideal for pond-side plantings.
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors February to July, in pots of moist compost. Cover lightly with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover pots with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 25-30 degrees C (77-86 degrees F). Keep moist and do not allow to dry out.
Care Instructions
Remove cover when seedlings appear, transplant singly to larger pots if necessary. Stand outside for a few days to acclimatise (avoid frosts). Transplant 1.8m (6ft) apart in growing position.
Foliage
May to October, flowers may form July to September on mature plants.
