Product Information
Easy to grow with broad succulent stems and dark green tender leaves. Plants are cold tolerant and slow to bolt making them ideal for harvesting as baby leaf or left to mature.
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors, May to August, in a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 40cm (16") apart. Cover with 1.5cm (0.5") of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care Instructions
When large enough thin to 25cm (10") apart for mature leaves or 5cm (2") apart for baby leaves. Baby leaf crops can also be sown in pots. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvesting Instructions
June to October. Pick baby leaves as required, plants will regrow for 2-3 cuts or cut whole heads.
