Product Information
Compact plants with attractive upright clusters of hot, intensely flavoured fruits, slender up to 7.5cm (3in) long. Best grown in a greenhouse but can be grown in a warm position outdoors.
Sowing Instructions
Sow indoors, February to April, in pots or trays of seed compost. Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx 15-18 degrees C (60-65 degrees F).
Care Instructions
Remove cover when seedlings appear. When 5cm (2") tall, transplant into 10cm (4") pots of compost with as little root disturbance as possible. Keep at approx 15 degrees C (60 degrees F).
For greenhouse crops: Transplant to growing bags or large pots in the greenhouse in May to June.
For outdoor crops: Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant to a sunny, sheltered spot outside. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvesting Instructions
July to October. Note, outdoor crops will not produce as large a crop.
Caution: The juice from these peppers can sting the skin and eyes. Wash hands after handling.
