Product Information
Long cylindrical roots are perfect for slicing with firm, crimson flesh that is slow to go woody. A monogerm variety, it produces only 1 or 2 seedlings per cluster which makes thinning much easier.
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors, April to July. In a prepared seed bed in growing position. Sow thinly in rows 30cm (12") apart. Cover lightly with 2.5cm (1") of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops, sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care Instructions
When large enough, thin if necessary, to 7.5cm (3") apart. Keep moist and weed free. Pull when roots are up to 10cm (4") long.
