Product Information
Very easy to grow Oriental mustard with attractive deeply divided, darkly coloured leaves which become hotter as they mature. Pick as baby leaves for salads or stir-fry larger ones.
Sowing Instructions
Sow outdoors, April to August, in a prepared seed bed. Sow thinly in rows 20cm (8") apart. Cover with 0.5cm (0.25") of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care Instructions
When large enough thin out to 20cm (8") apart for mature leaves or 5cm (2") apart for baby leaves. Baby leaf crops can also be sown in patio pots. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvesting Instructions
May to November. Pick baby leaves as required and plants will regrow for a further 3-4 cuts. For mature plants, allow to develop fully before harvesting.
