Welcome to Country Garden Gifts. As our name suggests we are based in the Sussex country side, and offer free delivery over £15 and competitive prices on all our garden gifts.
Our Ranges:
We sell a wide range of award winning range of garden products, and garden tools. We also have a broad range of garden inspired accessories and country homeware and garden gift sets. If you are looking for a pair of secateurs or a tool box which can be appreciated for years you have to come to the right place. We also have garden furniture such as garden mirrors and sculpture. We also sell our own range of products which we design in house. We take pride in selling gifts and products with lasting quality and essential purpose.
Our Ethos:
Country Garden Gift has been in the country life-style gift business in Sussex since 2010, and in associated business fields since 1998. Caroline and Chris Bosker are the founders of the business, and have both worked as company directors for successful businesses in their past lives.
When Caroline first conceived of the idea of Country Garden Gifts she was in her own garden. It was a warm sunny day, and she had just come back from her holidays. Creepers had invaded every orifice of space, the weeds in her garden were rebelling and returning her garden back to the wilds. She got out a small spade which she hadn't used very often. She had bought it at a bargain price some years ago. She started digging. It bent!! She was shocked. She then had to go to the garden centre which was miles away. By the time she got back it had clouded over and had started to drizzle.
She already had a country home ware gift website, so she knew the benefits of using the internet. Why had she just not simply used her larger spade and ordered a new one on-line! Like any creature of habit, she had stuck to her routines. It then struck her that other gardeners would also find this whole business of shopping in sunshine as frustrating as her-self. Summer time is so short in this country, why spend a moment of it inside when you could be gardening, walking, having picnics and enjoying the sun-shine!
Caroline`s first business focused on beautiful gifts which supported a country life-style. Now she wanted a business which focused on garden products with quality and essential purpose. She wanted to supply great but also useful gifts that would last the receiver for years. She wanted people to look back in 7 years time and say, "yes these are the secateurs my daughter gave me. They have been so good I really couldn't do without them".
Caroline had always wanted to create her own brand, but after contacting many manufacturers she realised the difficulties that this might present, but eventually she found people that were prepared to help her. She realised that if she was to create this new brand she would have to open up her doors to a wider concept, the concept that essential purpose didn't just apply to gardening, it also applied to the other areas of our lives. So her web company took a new turn into garden and country inspired homeware.

But also sell: Country inspired: Bags, tee shirts, trays, mugs, tea-pots, laundry bags,!!
To summarise she wanted to provide a range of quality products which would not break the bank, so that keen gardeners and country folk like her-self could spend time in the garden
Any item sold by Country Garden Gifts will show a default delivery time of '3-5 Working Days' unless otherwise specified.
Delivery
We offer free delivery on all goods over £15 and charge £4.50 on items below that £15 band. International delivery is offered at a small surcharge.
When you order from us, you should receive an email from us with in the first couple of working days, in this email we will tell you if there is any problem with supplying the product within a reasonable time frame. It usually takes between 3-5 working days, for UK deliveries, but it can take longer particularly on large deliveries.

If you receive the item and it is not want you expected, you may return it within 30 days, you must return the item and its packaging in perfect condition. Although we will refund the cost of your purchase, you must bear the cost of its return.
If the item has been damaged in the post, please keep all of the packaging and the item it-self. If the item has been broken in the post and it is due to our poor packaging, then we will give you a full refund straight away.
Terms & Conditions
If you are not happy with your purchase feel free to send it back within fourteen days. It must be returned with the full wrapping that it arrived to you, and providing that it is in good condition, you will be offered a full refund for the item.
Unfortunately we cannot refund earrings or items which have an associated health and safety risk to future purchasers upon their refund. If you are unsure please feel free to ask. (This would not for example include knives, but would include underwear, if we sold it.)
If your goods are broken in the post then please tells us immediately keep all parts of the item and the wrapping they came in. We will then give you further instructions as to what to do so get your money back.
In all situations we will deal with you fairly under British Law and if a dispute arises we will be happy to let the British Law courts deal with us.
VAT
We are a none VAT registered company. Any items ordered from ourselves will not include VAT on your goods invoice.
Refunds & Returns
If you need to return an item, you do so at your own expense and inconvenience. If the item is in good order then we will refund your money. If it is not, it is up to you to collect it or pay for its return postage. You must return the item within 15 days. It must be in the original packaging, with all security seals intact with a receipt from PayPal or SagePay.
There may be situations where an order does not sufficiently match its description, are damaged on arrival, or are simply damaged. We will be as fair to you as it is possible to be, and try to seek a peaceful resolution. In these circumstances please email us with your details and the details of the complaint and we will investigate the matter fully, and in most circumstances offer a full refund. We will almost certainly need to see the stock in order to make a full assessment, and this in the first instance will need to be at your own expense. The goods must be returned with the original packaging, with all security seals intact, and with a receipt from PayPal. If however we cannot find the evidence to support any claim, then it will be up to you to collect the item.
All payments will refund via Paypal.
We will not refund the item until we have received it, so we suggest you use an in insured postage service.
