Product Description
This reliable vent opener works by a wax within the cylinder of the opener expanding when it's hot, pushing a piston to open the window. When it cools the wax contracts and stainless steel springs close the window.
Although this vent opener can be clipped onto the frame of aluminium greenhouses, if you want a more permanent fixing it can be bolted on. Or, to fix to wooden greenhouses use wood screws (not supplied).
This opener can be set to start opening the roof vent at any temperature between 12-18º Centigrade/55-65º Fahrenheit, giving a maximum window opening of approximately 30cm.
Approx. 28cm long this automatic opener fits close to the greenhouse glass so doesn't protrude into the greenhouse (you won't bang your head!).
Suitable for lifting a load of up to 5.5kg with windows approx. 76cm x 61cm in size.
