The Lafuma RSX Recliner

There is nothing more satisfying than relaxing in the garden on a summer’s day; and the only way to receive maximum pleasure is by doing so on one of Lafuma’s RSX Recliners. Choose from the RSX, RSXA or RSXA XL recliner, and take advantage of the innovative ‘Relaxer’ design this summer.

The RSX range has been carefully designed to provide the user with maximum comfort and relaxation, as well adding a touch of style to your outdoor space. These recliners have Batyline seat fabric that is suspended by elastic lacing cords to offer hammock-like comfort.

You have the choice between the RSX Padded recliner that offers sublime comfort or the RSXA (XL) Batyline Recliners, which have woven covers that allow air and water to circulate making them perfect for use around the pool.

Fabrics

The fabrics used by Lafuma are chosen for their high resistance to abrasion, ultra-violet light, tearing and stretching. Most of the Lafuma fabric covers are removable and washable. Each of the fabrics have different characteristics making them both practical, extremely comfortable and stylish.

Batyline Padded or Airlon Cover?

Batyline is a synthetic woven pioneered for use in the furniture by Lafuma; it is extremely strong and provides full support whilst remaining supple. The weave allows air and liquid to pass freely and the synthetic nature of the fabric prevents any deterioration in humid atmosphere; making it particularly suitable for use in gardens and around swimming pools. The very nature of this fabric allows it to mould around your body providing ultimate relaxation.

Padded canvasses are a 50/50 poly-cotton blend, making them very pleasant to touch. Lafuma specify high-density foam for the padded filling, which is extremely comfortable and supportive and complies with strict UK fire-retardency regulations. The foam padding is around an inch thick and is suspended by elastic lacing cords providing hammock like comfort.

Airlon is 100% polyester fibre and subsequently very soft to touch. Its main qualities are exceptional dimensional stability and resistance to fading from UV light and rainwater, enhancing longevity. These properties make Airlon perfect for use camping and picnics.
