Trends for 2025: Rope Weave Garden Furniture

Rope weave garden furniture is becoming more and more popular, as a striking alternative to rattan weave. Strong, weatherproof and hand wearing, it is made from a flexible plastic material that has been woven in a variety of ways, to make eye-catching patterns on chair and sofa backs.
Rope weave is either woven in a straight vertical pattern, like on the Eden, or in more complicated geometric designs, as found on the Tierra. Either way, they provide good back and side support on a chairs, and will certainly garner admiring glances.
Top brands, such as Hartman, Kettler and LG, have embraced the Rope trend in their garden furniture, as outlined below.
Hartman Rope Garden Furniture
All-weather Rope
Hartman utilizes an All-weather Rope on its rope weave garden furniture. The Cora range features a vertical weave woven onto a wooden frame, for a natural look.

LG Rope Garden Furniture

With the current popularity for rope garden furniture, it is likely that this trend will continue to grow, and that garden furniture brands will bring out innovative designs, incorporating interesting rope patterns, in the future.
